MAKOP RUBBER COW FOOT BATH
Foot baths help prevent hoof rot and heel erosion, reducing lameness. The disinfectant solution used in the foot bath (copper sulfate mixed with water) will kill or prevent bacterial infections such as hoof rot and heel erosion. Bacteria can inflame the soft skin between the toes and cracks, and then penetrate beneath the horn lining and the inner surfaces of each hoof horn.
Place the foot bath at the exit of your barn or at the exit path of the milking room so that cows can pass through it twice daily.
The disinfectant solution hardens the horn and toughens the skin in critical areas between the hoof blocks. This drying effect on the hoof and skin makes cattle feet more resistant to bacterial infections. WE ADVISE YOU TO USE 4 PIECES.
